Most Important? (Score 1)

I've used way too many different SCM systems in my career (CMS on a vax, PCMS on a vax, CVS, ClearWaste, sorry ClearCase, sccs, rcs), they all have good and bad points. From a developer's point of view, all the tools that management like are hated by the developers. People making these tools seem to forget that if the tool gets in the way of the developers job or is so awkward to use, he won't use it. CVS is the best of the bunch (IMO) at letting the developer do his main job of developing code.

My opinion, feel free to disagree; opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one.
