Reading this it occured to me that

1. The closer to our biochemistry a species is the more dangerous it is as a repository or incubater of destructive disease.
2. The disease that can achieve a steady state in one species can be so destructive it destroys its own hosts in another without eliminating it from the world in general.
3. Kill all the apes, kill all the monkeys ...
