PBS doesn't rely directly on government funding much for their content creation. It's Arkansas that relies on gov funding to bring the program over the air to its residents. A portion of that pays for the right to broadcast some of the programs. So maybe PBS loses a few hundred K in royalty. Probably not a huge deal. People that attack PBS have never watched NOVA, or some of the arts and music programming, They're excellent.
