For a Fortune 100 Company to not control its own data, real time or archived, is VERY dangerous. Like many of y'all, I don't trust the cloud for much. For FedEx to do so, seems asinine. The only secure computer to online hacking is a computer not connected to the network.
I'm confused as to why anyone would want something like this? Yes it was fun for the time, and allowed a lot of people to get their feet wet when its came to coding, but what is out there is leaps and bounds. I know there are Amiga, OS2 Warp, and BeOS zealots out there, but sometimes you let it die. No one is writing in Fortran or Cobol any more or longing for a VAX with an amber Wyse terminal.
Make a products then talk about stuff. Just because you're a billion dollar ad company doesn't make you nearly the company that APPLE is. First of all I know no one that's loyal to ANY social media company/ platform. Eh, who cares!
Will SpaceX be required to cover the costs of the satellite or other equipment in case of failure to deploy payload as agreed? Who would insure this? I, as a taxpayer would want my costs covered in case of an accident.
