SQL Server works just fine for smaller applications, NOT Enterprise level! AD works well for ILM. Exchange offers a TON of ammenties, however is and always has been a high level risk for Email Security. Okay, fine bring in a third party email proxy, you still have a cheesy OS that needs to rebooted often.
