While it was mentioned in a post from someone from Denmark, folks here in the US should look no further than their closest Waldorf school. My daughter, who is now 9, has been in either a Waldorf-influenced or Waldorf proper school since going to school when she was 3 and a half. I highly recommend it to everyone I meet. The heart of the early childhood school is play. There is no homework, which has been shown to be useless so early. Please, save our children, reintroduce play into their lives, they will thank you for it I assure you. See Why Waldorf at www.waldorfeducation.org, and it will explain everything.
