My experience is that medical professionals are almost always wrong at first and will only find the correct diagnosis after multiple attempts.
Even when I point at the exact spot, tell them in detail what the problem is they insist on exhausting their ideas first.
One time they ordered multiple scans that deliberately ignored the area I mentioned and only figured it out when seeing the issue almost out of frame on the third imaging attempt.
