I'm Mare, half of Metanet Software -- just to clarify, both Raigan and I went up to receive the award, and for the record, I was actually not choked up at all -- just astonished that we'd won, and searching hastily for something to say. We weren't prepared at all because there were so many other great games in the competition and we didn't really expect to win anything.

I totally forgot to thank our friends and families, for example! I hope they're not disappointed to have fallen under the lovely and vague phrase "we'd just like to thank everyone who supported us". ;)

So again, not choked up. Just shocked.

The awards were great -- we're especially thrilled that Gish won the big prize in their category. Congratulations to all the developers who won!
