To recap: I've gone all offense, Taken Ab's suggestion of only hitting those with bigger armies than I, and I've even got spies!

I get up at 5 am (damn cats!) and decided to quick log in. Fuxx0rz! Some dewds snagged my roll a mere 10 minutes ago! Don't those fuckers have any lives?! At least they killed off a bunch of my men. (yes, I am happy about that. They are just numbers, they are not people! What a cruel commander I've become.)

Since its 5 amd I'm up, I might as well troll for dollars. I spy with my little eye a general with just as many guys, but not enough defense. I tag his ass for 79k.

Do the same with a guy who has 1.5 times as many guys and a bigger bank roll. I tag his ass for 126k. WOW. Who cares about the almost 100k I lost overnight? I made it up two-fold!

Joyous, frantic, and not wanting to push my luck (you don't know what FREAKS are trolling at 5 am!) I cashed out and bought myself a Dragon (biggest offensive weapon for Orcs. I dunno what other races can get.)

Yeah- this game is getting pretty good.

  • Is there any restriction on how often you can use spies, or how many people you can spy upon? Do they use up attack turns?
    • No, no, and no. ;)

      The thing is, if they get caught, they get killed.
      I assume the better their defense, the more likely they will catch you.

      Check this, it just happened- this one dude TOTALLY kept stealing my gold. (like 4 times today! He was one of the 5am thieves!)

      I sent 1 spy his way- it got caught.
      I sent the second spy- it made it through!
      No attack turns used, and his defense is 1/4 my attack value.

      • Their defense doesn't have anything to do with it. Getting caught is based on your spy level, the spy level of the target, and luck.

        I have a list of over 20 targets that I have scoped out that have significantly more men than I do and that I can defeat in battle. I open up all their info pages as a tab group in Mozilla and then when I am up with the baby at 4 am I just open the tab group, look at who has the most gold, and go a plundering. Came away with over 240k today.

          Say what?! People with HIGH defense seem to decimate my spies regularly. Also, when I had NO spies (and high defense) I caught somebodies spies.

          Many players have lots of soldiers all with ok weapons rather than a few with great ones.

          • Yes, you should cash in your wargs. It is cheaper to mantain the Dragons. You probably don't want to cash in the Wargs just yet though.

            Actually I cash in after attacks when I have some cash. If I have 60k in cash sitting around I will sell items in order to buy the best weapon. You get more for your money selling some Wargs and using the cash than you would by buying another warg. I have done the math and it works. I have also given up on selling weapons to buy anything but the best weapon, it is to

    Make sure you have a few dudes trained to handle your dragons on offense. You'll like the results.

    It's funny, but I'm usually up by 5:00 am for work and I'm always amazed that I get tagged within 10 minutes of logging in.

    And you'll want to find cats you can 'farm'. You know, just keep hitting and draining the cash from.
