Regarding the modem issues, I dl'ed R5 PE yesterday and dial-up access was the only thing that didn't work properly ... however I did manage to make it work adding the modem thru the "Devices" option in the preferences window.
Otherwise I'm really impressed, the system's so fast, of course it has to do with the smaller overhead for not being multiuser, but I don't need that at home anyway ... to bad it doesn't have a complete web browser (Opera's still a beta), or else I'd surely use it most of the time.
