You will get your wish soon enough... If current trends continue, Microsoft will remove more & more functionality from the print UI until your only option is to use WSD and IPP Class Drivers.
You can't complain about the driver installer if it no longer exists ;)

Rather than a completely separate store, I think it would be better to go with a setting (disabled by default) to show/hide apps using 3rd party payment processors. There should also be a warning tag applied similar to the in-app purchases tag.

The devs will probably say this doesn't go far enough, but based on my experience doing IT support for home users, they absolutely need to be protected from themselves wherever possible.

Far too many people. In fact, they will even go out of their way to override protections & install malware, as demonstrated by the recent DHL SMS debacle.

Apple don't need to get gaming to cause some serious pain for the consoles - all they need to do is release a good media box that is also capable of playing IOS games in 1080P. Of course, they will probably shoot themselves in the foot by not allowing Netflix & Hulu on the Apple TV.
I recall reading an article about Xbox usage that found overall, Xbox 360 consoles are used more for watching videos than for gaming - that is a very good reason for a games console that can play videos to be worried about a media box that can play games.

Slingshot is a budget ISP that has a very bad reputation. There are a few ISPs that will sell you unlimited topups of 10 or 20GB at a time if you can afford it & one very oversubscribed ISP that lets you set your cap as high as you want & only charges for the amount of data used each month. Our ISPs get paid for a lot of unused data because you have to estimate how much data you are going to use in advance.

On a slight tangent, Watchdog (the ISP mentioned in the summary) are a top notch NZ ISP that have always filtered their connections above & beyond the government filter. They fill a niche market consisting mainly of schools and overbearing parents.
I have a few primary schools as clients & watchdog is perfect for them. The principal can show worried parents that they are taking steps to ensure the children don't see anything they shouldn't & if you have to ring the helpdesk for any reason, the staff are friendly, helpful & understandable. It is very rare to ring an ISP & speak to someone who lives in NZ AND speaks perfect English.
