With today's update of Fedora 15, I no longer need to suspend my Toshiba 115D to enable the external sound output.

The first sign of maturity is the discovery that the volume knob also turns to the left.
Fedora 16 Upgrade (Score:1)
An upgrade to Fedora 16 on this machine was a bit of a bother. After the preupgrade command and a reboot followed by a "yum upgrade" command, both at a console, an additional wait was needed for the graphical login to work. Then a "yum distro-sync" command fixed firefox.
