I guess we could have saved all this bother and just asked Dick about it in the first place. He knew what to do without benefit of research, testimony, or even, it seems, a shred of knowledge about any of the issues involved.

Sadly, all the regular people I talk to seem to feel the same way, simply because they don't know enough to make an informed decision. If only the LOVEBUG attachment would have forced each Outlook user to read a condensed version of the comments on /.
