read as many unix books as you can get your hands on. watch out for something called linux coming to a pc near you soon.
when the internet takes off buy stock in some of the big names early on like yahoo, aol, sun & cisco - then dump them after a couple of years before the bubble bursts. technology stocks like intel, microsoft & apple will always go up in value so invest steadily over time, until 2005 when microsoft will self-destruct.
buy a home by the time you're in your mid 20's. get your driving license as soon as possible. move to the big city. don't be shy, work to make new friends. being geeky at school doesn't mean that you won't be appriecated in the workplace.
