2 party system (Score 1)

I am feigning shock over such rebuke over the two party system. I suspected it looking at the poll options, but think it is crap. Unfortunatly, the 2 party system is the system that we are stuck with for the forseeable future. Anyone who thinks that they are making a statement by voting for a 3rd party needs to have their rose colored glasses knocked off. The republican's are funding Nader so that rebelious democrats will vote for Nader, thus ensuring that Bush gets into power.

I would love to be idealistic enough to believe that a libertarian or a green could asume power, but it will never happen under this system. What needs to happen is for us to elect people with a concious into office, and pressure them to change the system. I don't think that either of the candidates are really qualified for that, but that is the fault of voters in the primary process.

You sometimes have to play by crap rules in order to get a rule to change.
