I think it will always be 20 years away.
According to https://w3techs.com/technologi..., "BSD is used by 0.2% of all the websites whose operating system we know."
So, not a large portion of websites by any stretch, but it's also not dead.

I'd rather live in a time zone where the municipality/state/country doesn't have the asinine practice called "Daylight Savings Time." Then again, this isn't really related to the time zone.
