Rubbish, not insightful. Nokia were a world leader and I loved their gear until Elop threw away their technology and embraced Windows phone crap. Look at Nokia most successful products, not based on Windows phone. He deserved to be sacked, quoted as being the worst CEO ever.

Submission + - XP cheaper than Linux on new Eee PC (apcmag.com) 3

KrispyDollars writes: "It sounds crazy to say this, but the XP-based version of the Eee PC 900 (the new version with the 8.9" screen) will actually be considerably cheaper than the Linux based version. At the official launch today, the company told journalists that "Microsoft has been a longstanding supporter of Asus" to explain the price discrepancy. And — get this — only the XP-based machine will be sold at mass-market retailers, while the Linux-based model will be consigned to computer stores."

Paramount dropped the Star Trek tag altogether, and it's simply called Enterprise.

Which is fun, because the German translation of the original Star Trek series was called "Enterprise".

I wonder how they'll react to this in the translation of the new Enterprise series.
I'd bet they'll put back the "Star Trek" tag.
