Over the past 2 years I have installed Mint twice. A year ago Mint had several "outages" which made installing their distro problematic. Both of the past two times that I installed various versions of Mint - I encountered the same problem - ( "Broadcom Chip Wireless won't work - period) ! I spent several weeks in the Mint forums, and applied various "fixes" to get my wireless working. It never did work, After standing on my head and rubbing my belly - and various other "fixes" I gave up. Neither I or any of the gurus at Mint could get My wireless working (two times over 2 different builds) - I do have some time on my hands but not enough time to ever make Mint work on My Pc! So after installing mint on My PC with a dual boot .. I gave up. wouldn't any sane person? If I can't get my broadcom wireless card to work with linux, and the experts at mint couldn't get it working.. I asked Myself: "Why do I need this aggravation"? What I'm trying to say is: Linux worked flawlessly on my pc, but without a wireless connection - my PC was reduced to an mp3/video player. I want more from an operating system than that!

Just take this one example of how Snopes spreads disinformation: http://www.indiana.edu/~p10134... Snopes has had over 17 tries to get the "facts" right on this one single issue. Snopes started with .. "The Test is a hoax.. never existed" .. WRONG, The Test was never given to students .. Isn't it astounding that in 1968 NASA sent a mission to the moon, with hand wired graphite memory ropes.. termed by NASA as "Little Old Lady" memory, and with less memory than a commodore 64 they sent men to the moon, landed, toured, came back to the ship, then came back to earth? The "only" integrated circuits then were NAND gates, period, end of story. Nasa claims they hand wired graphite ropes to achieve the same memory as a Commodore 64, and then this .. amazing computer.. went to the moon, landed, took off and returned to earth! Imagine the instruction set to do all of the above tasks? Nasa even claimed these hand wired graphite ropes were termed: "Little Old Lady" memory! If You geeks out there think this was feasible, or even possible.. then imagine a "Sinclair ZX80" was incredibly more complicated than the NASA computer! The reality behind this socialist produced "mocumentary" tells a much different story! In Detroit the Police Chief with massive government cutbacks advised local citizens to arm themselves! http://hotair.com/archives/201... It really bothers these Yes Men that the result of citizens arming themselves has been steep declines in Detroit crime! From the article: >>Detroit has experienced 37 percent fewer robberies in 2014 than during the same period last year, 22 percent fewer break-ins of businesses and homes, and 30 percent fewer carjackings. Craig attributed the drop to better police work and criminals being reluctant to prey on citizens who may be carrying guns. “Criminals are getting the message that good Detroiters are armed and will use that weapon,” said Craig, who has repeatedly said he believes armed citizens deter crime. “I don’t want to take away from the good work our investigators are doing, but I think part of the drop in crime, and robberies in particular, is because criminals are thinking twice that citizens could be armed. “I can’t say what specific percentage is caused by this, but there’s no question in my mind it has had an effect,” Craig said. Compare Detroit's scenario to Chicago's: Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the U.S. and the highest gun homicide rate! Murder citie's crime rates are off the charts, because citizens can't defend themselves, while the criminals have all the guns. These "Yes Men" are so far from reality, it makes their little joke video much funnier, as they have no idea what they are lampooning!

To add insult to injury the SEC knowing the software had a back door, made the software a "legal requirement" and purchased it's own copy of the fraudulent software. Mr. Grove went to court, and acting as his own defense was proven to be right, but the Court ruled the Statute of Limitations had passed. The software is still in use. Sounds like a bad novel, but unfortunately Very True. Mr. Grove should be an American Hero..not a "Whistle blower Scorned"
