What you are suggesting is relatively low-tech by agency standards and would be detectable by a scan. Through wall/building/roof surveillance exists. Micro passive cameras embedded in drywall (or wherever) are in extensive use for even domestic surveillance of non-investigative subjects. I imagine that the devices in question are passively powered by electricity generated from either movement or body heat.

I'm glad your sister has recovered. Two months of post-viral malaise generally isn't considered long covid by the medical field, as it's not unusual for a strong virus such as the flu or covid to cause fatigue and other symptoms which extend out for a couple of months. Thanks for pointing out the long-term impacts that many are suffering. The long covid outcome is widely disregarded, but it's terrible for those of us going through life with it.

Sorry you've gotten hit with the long covid symptoms. The fatigue can be brutal. Additional covid vaccinations / boosters can re-trigger it, so proceed with caution. Trying to do any amount of endurance-style exercise, especially running, can cause post-exertional malaise. I was a long-distance triathlete prior to covid with 20+ years of endurance sports history. I had covid at the very start of the pandemic. It was a mild-feeling infection, but then I never got better from the burning lungs and other symptoms and started getting hit with a bunch others after a few months. It's been since March of 2020, and my lungs burn to this day, coughing, fatigue up and down, many of the long-hauler symptoms you'll read about. I kept trying to ease back into some light exercise, but every time would suffer big setbacks after a few minimal, short sessions of nothing-level efforts. Best advice I can give you is to rest until you have no more symptoms, then rest some more. Don't try starting up any running again until you are completely well. Go easy and just let your body recover. Do some modest amounts of easy walking if you're up to it, but don't push things beyond that if you still have symptoms. Hope you get better.

Unfortunately, this message largely falls on deaf ears. The harsh reality is that only people who suffer from this, and perhaps those close to them along with a few healthcare workers really grasp the nature of the illness. I've had long covid now for that past two years, and yes, it's essentially ME/CFS (and POTS) + some other covid extras. Totally, completely life altering for those experiencing it and also seemingly completely missing from the discussions surrounding covid. Sorry you are suffering from ME/CFS.
