Damage?, Well where to begin?
1. I have gone from being frustrated when my windows program 'Illegal oped' on me to chasing down bad library links and or old libs.
2. I have gone from being able to load and run 'format c:' to writing my own scripts, using expect, grep, sed etc.
3. Have gone from rebooting my win9x box 5-6 times a day to waiting for my SuSE 6.4 box to hit 500 days (God and power co. willing)
4. Have met many great people who's first response to a problem is not "Have you tried rebooting" or " Try reinstalling the software" or "It's probably a problem with your software" -NO it wasn't Mr Gates!
5. And most important: Linux makes me THINK
Windows makes me drink!
