My PS2 is in a box in the attic, as I am a NEW Gamecube owner. My 6 year old loves games and there just weren't many games for the PS2 appropriate for him that weren't crummy tie-ins.
And we are VERY happy with our purchase. Besides the kidppropriateness of some very high quality titles, there are far more games we can actually play together.
