Just because you play a few games that disclose odds doesn't mean they all do.

Currently, there is no law saying companies must disclose odds as loot boxes are not considered gambling in the eyes of the law yet.

So this isn't 'pointless appeasement'... it's letting people know what the odds of getting a rare item might be.
