As a developer of a project (Score 1)

I can only speak for myself as a developer, not for anyone else. But I do my projects as a hobby, and to return something back to the linux community which I have been apart of for the last 7-8 years. Giving back the same as other people have made available to me, gives me a lot of satisfaction, if someone wants to donate to the project, then that is good, but I'm quite happy not to receive anything at all. I do hope that my projects are found to be useful, and allow the world to benefit and to open up it's mind regarding opensource.
