1.) When in trouble, obfuscate. 2.) Never create a problem for which you do not have the answer. 3.) Create problems for which only you have the answer. 4.) An easily-understood, workable falsehood is more useful than a complex, incomprehensible truth. 5.) Forgive and remember. 6.) For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism. 7.) You never know who's right, but you always know who's in charge. 8.) Everybody lies; but it doesn't matter, since nobody listens. 9.) Information deteriorates upward though bureaucracies. 10.) The secret of success is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made.
