I've noticed that a lot of these proposed, new taxes are promised to benefit GROUP_XYZ. Will they really?

New taxes are always sold on some promise of enriching current government programs. Today, the promise is people "disenfranchised by the coronavirus."

Let's say a tax like this is passed. Where will the money go? Will the revenue go to help the poor GROUP_XYZ? Or, will that revenue be re-allocated to budget of the latest bridge-to-nowhere?

More likely, out of 10 remote workers, only 1 of them would have that extra 5% going to help people. The rest of them would be giving up that extra 5% to fund other portions of the government's budget. In countries like America, this WFH tax would end up being passed to prevent cuts to military and defense.

All of those are indeed bad, but what I find the worst is Google Maps' tendency to navigate me directly into traffic or onto congested roads.
I've gone from trusting its GPS to researching my route beforehand. I only keep it activated until I memorize the way to go.

It seems like all of this could be avoided by writing some pf rules. I get that most Mac users are technically illiterate but take advantage of your kernel's features. Tell the "user land" Apple Telemetry packets to drop themselves. :)

You can do this with Instacart Shopper. In my case, I had a former user's phone number.

A while back, I wanted a new phone number with a local area code and whatnot. I went to my phone store and got a new SIM & phone number.
Later, I decided that I wanted to make some extra money. I downloaded Instacart Shopper. I was told I already had an account.

I told myself, "Let's login to my account, then." I logged in. The ability to receive a text message counted as a password.

I was greeted with a photo, e-mail, physical address. I now knew the former owner of my new cell phone number. I was even able to see who he banked with and the last 4-5 digits of his bank account. I was not able to view the full account, but I probably had enough information to bad things if I were a bad guy.

You're saying that Twitter does not use 'Cache-Control' in its HTTP response headers? What on Earth, then, is the response header they sent??
