I actually bought a pack of 3.5" floppy disks at Fry's last week to apply a BIOS upgrade on a Thinkpad 600E, for which I had to buy an external floppy drive for a whopping $6.95 first. All the floppies that I used to use for this purpose had gotten corrupted.
