Where I come from we have 50% illiteracy rates but we still elect rocket scientists and economics PhDs for higher offices. It is amazing in this country of 100% literate people so many are so anti-intellectuals.

I recently read "All the Shah's Men" by Kinzer. It details the history of Anglo-Iranian oil company (today's BP). BP started in colonial era of England. They were arrogant while they were exploring and extracting oil in Iran. According to the book they wouldn't even build housing or roads or any medical facilities for Iranian laborers. However they built most of the comforts for the British officers and workers. Read the book if you can and the current BP will not surprise you at all.

I do not know what the hell is a problem. All the cellphone I have ever used, I synchronized them to my computer. I haven't used that many cell phones only 5 of them so far (Nokia(2), Eriksson(2) and Handspring). All you need is a data cable and a software. Most of my phones had infrared ports, so I did not even bothered with data cables.

Why do you need cell phone companies doing this for you? Just do it yourself already.
