lpq's Journal: "I am in no way a violent person" - testicle assailant

According to a BBC News report, Amanda Monti, 24, was quoted as saying "I am in no way a violent person" after being sentenced to jail for 2.5 years for ripping off a testicle of a man, 37-year old Geoffrey Jones, who turned down her advances at a house party.

She grabbed his crotch and yanked hard -- removing his underwear and the testicle which she then tried to swallow. However, she gagged and spat out the testicle when, a friend grabbed it, and, handing it to Jones said, "That's yours". Doctors were unable to reattach the severed organ.

Monti, in a letter to the court said "It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff... I am in no way a violent person." She went on to state that she couldn't remember the details that led up to her attacking him, but that her attack on him would "live with her forever". Of course this says nothing about how her victim would be living with the consequences.

Given her statement, that it was not her intention to cause harm and that she was not a violent person, one shivers to imagine what she would have done had she intended to cause harm or if she was a violent person.
