California needs all of that money to subsidize illegal aliens You realize that welfare programs actually check your eligibility, right? Also, the fastest way to get deported is to tell the government "Hey, I'm here!". I know illegals that receive state and federal money. Never asked how they are doing it but they do ... keep that in mind when you think that illegals are not able to game the system. Just like those that are citizens ... where there is a will there is a way.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... I dont even want to double check any more of your facts because you are so far off. (quotes below) "Natural gas-fired power plants typically account for almost one-half of in-state electricity generation. California is one of the largest hydroelectric power producers in the United States, and with adequate rainfall, hydroelectric power typically accounts for close to one-fifth of State electricity generation" "Due to high electricity demand, California imports more electricity than any other state" "In August 2020, during a heat wave which affected the entire West coast, air conditioning usage caused the peak load to hit 47 GW, and CAISO issued rolling blackouts to avoid a larger system shutdown. The state did not have enough generation ready to fulfill demand, and it was unable to import sufficient electricity from neighboring states who had no surplus themselves" I highly doubt the visa's would have made a difference. Where I see the importing of population was from the southern border. When that was being stopped then you stopped the net gain of population to the state. not some small amount of 150,000. On a separate note, if CA was so great the number of people from other states would easily fill any gaps. https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/n... "In May 2021, CBP encountered 180,034 persons attempting entry along the Southwest Border. This total represented a 1 percent increase over April 2021" THATS IN ONE MONTH!! and only the ones they caught so ... 150,000 visas.. ??? thats a joke. Most of my friends/family are in tech, healthcare and gov. The groups that "can" leave are leaving tech just happens to be the easiest to relocate.

Drive down the streets of any major city in CA to see the increases in homeless. I dont need skewed (illegals?) per capita numbers to see whats occurring. Feel free to find the articles giving numbers. 11% is massive but I suppose if you can find other sources then that would work (good luck with that) The news today requested that those in Los Angeles with electric cars not plug their cars in due to lack of power. Lack of distribution, lack of power.. its all the same to businesses and taxpayers. They dont have their A/C on during a heat wave. You may have to step back and take in more of the bigger picture. I just used hydro electric as an example there are a lot of other areas impacted due to lack of water.

So all you have to do is recall your governor and suddenly money is discovered for rebates? They have no water. If water dries up their hydro-electric power dries up. They have more transients and homeless than any other state. The crime is ungodly. The electricity is shut off regularly due to winds that "may" cause fires. The traffic is horrendous. According to the article they are great with renewable energy even though they constantly have power issues. Everyone I know (tech) is trying to move out and remote in so that will cause the money to further dry up. California would have had more population if visas were approved.... he thinks (blame trump)??? I think this article needs more substance and less used car salesman.

Im surprised they come back to you and request your assistance. Most managers wouldn't admit making a mistake of that type. You must impress them well in your interview and do a very good job of "leaving the door open for future work". My experience is that they feel older workers are more expensive, less flexible (on-call, family, kids etc) and consider the possibility of dealing with a protected class when they choose the employee. I also think experienced staff understand labor laws and are more likely to sue or document a complaint just due to their knowledge/experience. Notice this one didnt sue.. just complained on a blog... my opinion is that older workers have more resources and experience so they would engage an attorney. (also, dont listen to attorneys, if you believe its unethical or illegal, just sue lawyers are not very bright)
