This may sound like a shameless plug but its really not. Gateway has a Linux cube, you could have the BSR bring one out to your group and you guys could tear it apart! I'm sure other big names with Linux offerings would also bring their products out.
The Gateway guy may not be much to listen to but you'll get to play with some cool stuff.
