I had no idea that there was going to be a conference about Linux. As others have said the word needs to get out there a little better so more people could attend these events.

Anyone know of othe Linux conferences that will be happening in Canada over the next few months? Would love to know about them.

I joined the slashdot community on July , 27, 2005. I recently moved from windows xp to linux and loving every second of it. Its a little of an adjestment to the way linux is used but I love it. My linux box is almost completely set up, I have a few more things to install like mysql and some streaming audio video programs. I also need to get my burner working. thats all for the first entry into this journal Linux Guy
