Journal: Comdex Disappointing

This year I attended my first ever Comdex. Apparently this was a poor year for attendance and vendors, but what I found most disheartening was the backwards thinking and stereotyping perpetuated by the vendors. I attended as a women in the IT field and my husband tagged along on trip. I have been in the field for 8 years and am a Unix System Admin. I like to think that I am good at what I do, however I got treated like a woman who has never seen a computer before.
