I was around back then, too and there was plenty of nazi stuff then too... (antisemitist cartoons, anyone?) it just drowned in all the other stuff or so it seemed to me.
Nope, I have not yet eliminated the possibility of a coincidence, in fact I have not seen a medical professional at all yet. My first symptoms started about 9 days ago, and tomorrow I am having a look at working for a few hours. If I don't see improvement in the next few days I will look into seeing a doctor and doing any tests they recommend. Also I am not sure if something like "aggravating my asthma" counts as "a different cause than covid" but if it does then that is definitely a possibility.
I also know at least 10 people like that, sadly I am the 11th person, and while initially it wasn't too bad (more than the sniffles, something like a mild flu) the after effects are hecking annoying. I am far from in shape, but a week and a half ago I wasn't out of breath after just walking around the block.
I did not say that they would be in a better defensive position. I said they would consider themselves to be in a better defensive position. I also said this in the context of them being "victorious over a nation of rubble." I was only pointing out that they don't care whether what ukraine looks like after they would take over.
They don't care. They will have an consider themselves to be in a better defensive position from NATO than before and they will no longer have to worry about Ukraine rising to be a big new competitor in the oil and gas market of Europe.
If you are wondering where you have seen the concept of worldle before, it's taken the core gameplay of this gameshow: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
(which probably took inspiration from this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... )
Your usage of the term "edge" in this post makes me think one of us two fundamentally misunderstands how universe and its expansion works. Based on anecdotal evidence, it is most likely it's me.
But the trailer itself at least is an enjoyable little piece of media. I approve.
Nobody has liked this guy for years, except maybe that other cretin, Todd Rogers.
There is also the problem that in a lot of places where trees are planted the "wrong" trees are planted.
Just one example is that often little consideration is given to what extent the planted trees allow for things to grow on the forest floor, which depends on a number of factors.
Ask your local forester or "forestry engineer" as some places call them.
...the serialized nature of Babylon 5 put it (a bit) ahead of its time. I remember being a kid watching TV and when TNG or even DS9 (which was sort of serializedish) was on I was like "I get this, this episode is self-contained" and when B5 was on I was like "There is some kind backstory I am missing, I have no idea what is going on"
I can only imagine the current show will be on time, or worst case, behind the times.
I think there are also some big shoes to fill considering the amazing cast the original had.
All that said, I think this will be interesting. I also really liked what was going on with sense8, even if I understand that there were a fair number of people who did not. I think there is a real chance that the star trek fans who felt discovery and picard did not measure up to shows of the past, will end up feeling similarly about this B5 reboot... or of course I could be way off base here, since we have barely any info on what this will be like and I am just a random guy with no tv connections.
Oooh, Mountain. Gotcha.
Oh dang, I just figured out that the first one is most likely "button", huh?
I can't the decypher the first two of those. Not sure if they are too far away from the English I am used to hearing or if it's the brand of phonetic spelling. I guess the second one could be "morning" if "ou" represents a mid back rounded vowel, or maybe "moving/mooing" if it represents a close-mid back rounded vowel...
Hmm... maybe the first one could be "begin" if "uh" represents a mid central vowel...
I am quite curious now.
C++ is the best example of second-system effect since OS/360.
