Given how, at least as was the opinion of two month's ago, China is taking all trade secrets on a scale that America under King George could not have imagined, perhaps the parallel to China is America, side stepped off a century or so. What does that mean for the relationship between Apple and Foxconn? Your turn. By the way, when the USSR stole American trade secrets down to the blueprints for factories, Russian engineers were not allowed to be creative. They were so stifled it must have made them numb-er than mudbloods.

If you believe the incrowd, then MURDER DEATH KILL robots with fuzzy little Disney stickers on them should run on punch cards and they'll be completely safe. Because paper makes voting safe.

SlappingOysters writes "In an interview with Gameplayer, Tom Clancy's EndWar Lead AI Programmer Vinh-Dieu Lam spoke in detail about plans to tie all the different Clancy franchises together into one big game experience in the near future. Among other things, he had this to say: ' ... with EndWar, the meta-campaign side of it is a standalone server so you can feed things into this system so it can basically generate any sort of mission. So its missions generate for EndWar at the moment, but there is no reason why we cannot generate missions from the other franchises. This is where we are looking at tying together the different franchises. So maybe in the next EndWar you will need to attack Paris, but before you can, it may generate some sort of Splinter Cell recon mission, or a Ghost Recon mission or things like that. But that is the direction we are looking at.'"

Large Warhammer Patch In December, Two New Classes 55

Eurogamer reports on an announcement from Mythic CEO Mark Jacobs regarding the future of Warhammer Online. Jacobs said the first big content patch will be coming in December, and it will contain two new classes, the Black Guard and the Knight of the Blazing Sun. These are two of the four classes lost to the pre-launch content cuts. A number of other changes are on their way as well. "The Knight of the Blazing Sun is described as a tactical leader using Battlefield Commands, while the Black Guard is simply 'the embodiment of hatred and disdain.' The arrival of the two new careers will mean that every race in the game has a damage-taking tanking archetype. Of the originally planned careers, only the Dwarf Hammerer and Greenskin Choppa, both melee damage-dealers, will remain on the cutting room floor."
