Comment Re: Mods ruined reddit (Score -1, Flamebait) 73

Are you kidding? Mods *are* trash and should be recognized and treated as such. Disgusting little cretins so desperate for even a whiff power that they're willing to work for free, for a for-profit company, just to be able to ban people online they don't like. That's so pathetic that I can never respect them. Reddit is a trash site and it's mods are all trash. All of them. It's tremendously satisfying seeing both of them cook.

Good job, you managed to introduce COVID and vaccines into a story that has nothing to do with that. Even more impressive, you put it in despite the rest of your own comment having nothing to do with that. Sigh... The intellectual quality here is going down, fast.

This story is still not about contagiousness, but about making people pay for their own medical bills. But we can go down that route regardless. People talk a lot about the workload unvaccinated puts on the medical system and how it's hurting everyone but it's a laughable point. The pressure unvaccinated put on the medical system is miniscule compared to all the other unhealthy choices people make. Fat bastards with their heart diseases and massively increased risk of complications, smokers, drinkers, car drivers, the list goes on. It's completely irrational to go after the unvaccinated like this and the only reason people are so eager to support it is because they're assholes who just wanna blame someone, anyone, instead of focusing on themselves. Most people could do *a lot* to reduce the pressure they put, or are going to put, on the medical system. But nah, that's boring, let's focus on hating the non-believers
