/kuak! My first post in Slashdot. I agree with Scary. Is it so unbelievable that someone can spend more than a day in front of the PC or iMac or whatever playing and enjoing a nice videogame? Do we lose our soules becasue of this? Does the Bible condemn the videogaming by saying "You Shall not refuse invitations from thy friend above videogaming"? (sorry if I offended any Xtians, wasn't my intention). Anyway, refering to the topic. I read a comment (one of the only 10 I read, I'm amazed by the large quantity of comments in this post and web or blog) that said that he or she had sometimes felt happy of not having downloaded WoW, because he considers FFXI better (my conception of what you wrote). I think different. WoW was/is not only a referent, a begginer and the father of al MMOG's. It's one of few that convines great graphics (with the apropiate video card), very good scenarios, characters and story, making you domain not only the fighting aspect of the game, but the strategical part, by making you convine races, jobs and abilities throught the game. I think the FFXI, although it hits in many other aspects, and wouldn't fit with the former FF's, strikes in this one. Guild of Wars is for me unknown. I hasn't come to Argentina, as far as I know, so I couldn't prove it yet. From screenshots, I suppose it's very similar to Knight, which is very good as well.
