The only reason he was elected is because he inherited the thrown from daddy. He actually lost in the real democratic process, i.e. popular vote. What Clinton left Bush II was the first budget surplus in our history. And what did Bush leave Obama? The largest budget deficit ever seen, $407 billion.

So Bush inherited +$230 billion, and left Obama with -$400 billion. And we wonder why we're in a depression
