Wait, what? It's a whole genre of music that's just nerds rapping, and typically poorly at that.
One of the leading artists, MC Frontalot, actually has some talent. I just peeped over to his website, and lo and behold, he's got a few new tracks up. There's one that I think everyone (especially AG -- he got a bonus email notification) needs to listen to, called Rhyme of the Nibelung.

If you want to know the difference between rap and hip-hop, good fucking luck. The two dominant opinions are:
First, hip-hop is a lifestyle, and rap is just one part of it.
Second, hip-hop is a particular style of rap.
So we have A is a member of B versus B is a member of A. Whatfuckingever.
Here's a final point: iTMS lists the genre as "Hip-Hop/Rap".

First, I scanned your post as correcting me when I first read it, incorrectly on my part.
