i have mod points for about the fourth time in a month. i guess i must be a 'typical' slashdotter [shudder]. if anyone reads journals, i'm probably opening a pandora's box, but: mod-lobbying works on me (e.g. "moderator: mod parent up +1 funny..." etc.). not that i usually agree, but it does make me take a second look. democracy at work? this might only be because i'm a newbie moderator--there may come a time when such lobbying backfires. enabling comments on this just to see what happens.
