I'd rather see GNOME 1.0 wait for GTK+/GLIB 1.2
I't just doesn't make sense for a 1.0 release to depend on unstable (as in unstable branch - yes they work good, but isn't there still some memory leaks?) libraries when 1.2 is sooooooo close.
