Technically every war was started by politics. But religion? WWI WWII Vietnam Korea .... Which ones were started by religion? Even the gulf wars were about oil.

Very strange that you think this policy is about the ABC of you are an Australian. Given that it is a Liberal (Conservative party) policy, and they constantly attack the ABC, this policy is about for-profit news, especially News Corp (the Fox of Australia, where Rupert Murdoch started)
