Submission + - Partial Fail Sensing File Systems

lcde writes: I have recently been acquainted with the IRON file system through a journal paper from Madison's Computer Science department. Since a hard drive typically does not fail completely it is good to have a file system that can understand when the hard drive is failing and make adjustments to the data to minimize losses.

So my questions to Slashdot are: Which file systems have plans on implementing Partial Fail Sensing mechanisms? And if not, why not?
