You guys are both hyper paranoid - the current cable modem systems do not restrict access in any way to any IP address. Even the 10 min. video rule you mention for @Home is not enforced - they simply just don't promote any videos of that length from their content service. Things like this are what make this debate utterly pointless - nobody has a grasp of the facts. How could @Home identify, track, document all of the videos available on the Net and then restrict access to them - it's a logistical impossibility and would never be worth their time or money. they will never restrict access to content in any way for the exact reasons you state. If they're concerned about regulation that would be the quickest way to entice it.
