IPcams with web servers were perfect for DDoS attacks because with 2 lines of code after a telnet login, you could tell the camera to spew a HD video feed at a specific IP address. Having millions of these things at your command, brought the largest DDoS attack in bandwidth ever recorded. VStarcams: ~$50 on ebay, they arent on the mirai list, and still have a web gui login (which works natively in Chrome!! no activeX!). They do RTSP, as well as dyndns, ftp, SD recording and motion sensing.
