Comment Floppy adapters (Score 1) 466
If for some reason you don't or can't remove the HDD, there are a variety of floppy adapters - as in, things that actually *plug in* to the floppy disk slot itself. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-...
Is relatively inexpensive. It only lists compatibility there back to Windows 95, but the website ( http://www.olympusamerica.com/... ) has software for Windows 3.1. The main difference seems to be that you can only use memory cards up to 32 megabytes. Don't just buy that link I posted without researching, though; you may have to buy an older model for proper 3.1 compatibility.
I can't find any evidence of this but I'm also CERTAIN that there are crazy specialty devices that are basically floppy disks with cables coming out of the back of them that you can plug into a floppy drive and use them as an adapter to some other kind of interface. I really wish someone else could help back me up on that, because I really think it exists but I can't find anything, anywhere!
