This article isn't about anything new, people have tested all sorts of plastics, even the "safe" ones, and almost all plastic tested is toxic. The "safe" plastics are considered mostly safe because they shouldn't have toxic chemicals in them. Most do. Anyone claiming that plastic is safe is an idiot. A simple plastic which has almost no use in the modern world doesn't change that over 90% of plastics tested have proven to be toxic, and the leaching requires nothing more than a slightly high temperature, or a tiny scratch. In Toronto, a person can get a minimum wage job at $10.25/hour and: he doesn't need to pay more money for some health care insurance that won't cover anything and will still cost more money with "copays". He only pays $5 for a week's worth of locally and internationally grown fruit and vegetables. He can get a nice one bedroom apartment for as low as $650, all in. The majority of his city is coloured by plants and trees. Electronics, especially computer related, are often found for lower prices than US listings - otherwise, they are on par.
