Earth isn't a "she". It is not a person, it doesn't have a thought process or consciousness. It won't be "doing" anything. Once we're gone, there will be no more conscious experiences of our kind. There is no guarantee that any of the surviving species will reach intelligence levels anywhere close to ours. If we die out any chance of the biological life itself spreading and surviving beyond the lifespan of this planet (800 million years or so) will be gone forever.

Spot on. This could still be doable with current FB if there was someone competent in the development team who'd implement a proper mechanism for managing friend lists and privacy settings. They made a tiny improvement in this regard when Google came with their Google+ network which had "circles" as one of the main selling points. It was super easy to manage privacy there and FB quickly came with "friend lists" to compete but the UI was very clunky and has been only worse and worse ever since. (For a while now, most of their interface changes have caused major usability regressions.) And they made several other changes which made privacy on FB nearly unmanagable. In the early days all your activity record was present on your feed and visibility of everrything was manageble. Now there is tons of activity which gets published to everybody (based on FB algorithm decisions) whether you want it or not, for example if you comment on something that others can see like a public news article people see "X commented on Y". This results in 1) breach of privacy - I don't want to share all activities with everyone, and 2) people having no choice but spam others with their irrelevant private stuff, or have no activity at all.

Where do you have the $3200 price from? Seems like a massively overpriced. I'd be surprised if the actual cost was higher than $10-100 per test. In Czech rep it is "paid for" by the state but we only have a very limited test capacity at this time (around 100 tests per day) so only the people who travelled from the affected areas and are feeling ill are being tested. Otherwise I agree, depending on the actual mortality rate of the virus, it might be actually cheaper for the state to pay for it than deal with huge economic losses later.

The US delivery system still amazes me. Unless specifically requested by the recipient, I don't understand how a package can be considered as delivered if they just leave it unattended on a porch. They should deliver it personally and get a signature, otherwise they should drop it off at the nearest post office, which should be within the walking distance in any sufficiently populated area.

BS. If bribery and crime was cultural, it would be legalized. if anything, it indicates an extent of infiltration of government structures by organized crime.. which also inversely correlates with Human Development Index a specific region.
