We make software that does this automatically so LEO and others don't have to spend all day looking at this stuff. We do this faster and more accurately than anyone else, that we know of else, in the world.

I found this the other day when perusing the feds cybercrime resources. http://www.cybercrime.gov/crypto.html#IVa It's their agenda to push "key recoverable" encryption products that only they could recover plaintext from. This and the article mentioned above is their two pronged attack against the major irritant that encryption is proving to be. Just watch as they slowly tighten the net both from a legal and technical standpoint.

I've actually been using my recently purchased HP dm1z to mine bitcoins if anyone is interested in results. This contains the older Zacate processor (dual core 1.6Ghz and HD6310). Using a gpu miner I get about 10.4 Mhash/s. It's definitely respectable enough to do some pool mining. This is under Win7 64bit, linux might yield higher results.

I have a three monitor setup using xinerama across one nvidia quadro. No compiz however as there is no composting support for xinerama. I had to choose between TwinView with full 3d acceleration /compiz using proprietary drivers or three monitors without. The only way to get this working that I know is to use the older depreciated Xgl-server. Beautiful video of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_p3X7CdE2oc
