Journal krugdm's Journal: Guess the Movie 2

Got send out for a copy of Greek Wedding last night by my wife. Picked up a little something for myself, too: the Special Edition of one of my favorite movies...

  • but how'd the lasik go?
    • Fantastic! I'm seeing a combined 20-15. My right eye is 20-20 and my left eye is somewhere between there and 20-25. I have another appointment in three months where a decision will be made as to whether an "adjustment" is necessary.

Total cost: $2900. Total covered by my insurance: $2900. Even without the insurance coverage, if you've got some spare $$$ coming from a tax return and have crappy vision like I used to, I'd recommend it 100% as long as you go to a reputable place. I did mine through TLC [tlcvision.com]. You get what you pay for. The only side effect I had was the night glare and that is now pretty much gone. The dry eyes went away within a week, although I do get dry every now and then if I'm staring at my monitor all day.

I'm looking forward to wearing real sunglasses this summer instead of clip-ons!
