Are those two processes really that different? We might be able to "zoom out" our focus and look at large chunks of the list at once, but in the end we're examining each row in a given chunk for the "odd one" to stand out. It stands out because it's not equal to the other lines, which is how the algorithm would be coded. And breaking files into batches and processing each batch sounds a little like MapReduce.
I agree with you, but Trump supporters can spin his statement a different way (sadly, my father in-law already is). You could read his statement as, "once people start looting people start shooting, so we're sending in the National Guard to curb the violence." The press secretary will probably spin this by saying he was referring to the looters and protesters as potential shooters.
Oops, it's early and I misunderstood the announcement. I thought the lift on the cap would include cellular data plans but their announcement only references home internet access. I would love to lose the cellular cap, too, without paying through the nose.
I am grateful for it. My only ISP option is DSL at 6Mbs. My wife and I are both working from home starting today so if one of us can use our phone as a hotspot this will really come in handy.
Unless the administration blows their response and the US suffers disproportionately compared to other western countries. The media is spinning it that way already but it could happen if it spreads quickly and we are unprepared.
I agree with you. And the best way to guarantee that Medicare for All would work better than the ACA is to have the *same plan* for the general public and all government workers.
Shouldn't the real news story be that Yahoo only lost a third of its web traffic in 2019? The search has been irrelevant for years, the homepage is an ad-littered mess, and the email breach should have been the final nail in that coffin.
Chat is born of the desire of businesses to reduce customer service costs as much as possible without frustrating people past their breaking point to where they leave for the competition. The more "natural" that conversation is and the better the bot gets at initiating what the customer wanted, the further they can automate and drive down costs (people).
Exactly. I feel rumblings of the medical field adopting more preventative and holistic advice/methods but not quickly enough. It's much easier to monetize pills than sensible life habits. By eliminating processed foods and lowering my carb intake I got myself off of blood pressure medicine and I can tell that it has made me healthier in more ways than I even realize. My doctor was very supportive and encouraging but I have talked to others that can't seem to be bothered with nutrition and things like mindfulness habits.
